Hello, dear Moda Bake Shop Bakers! I hope you have been enjoying the Countdown to Christmas so far! My block today is a simple one. You can play up the simplicity with some fussy cut prints or just make it as designed - a humble farmhouse star.
This blocks finishes at xx" x xx"....

| Fabric A | (4) 2.5" x 8.5" strips (4) 2.5" squares (4) 3" squares |
| Fabric B | (4) 3" squares (1) 4.5" square |
| Fabric C | (4) 2.5" squares |
HALF SQUARE TRIANGLES 
Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of Fabric A squares. Pair with Fabric B squares. Sew 1/4" away from each side of the marked line. Cut apart on the line and press to the darker fabric. Trim to 2.5" square. Repeat to create 8 HSTs. 
BLOCK ASSEMBLY Create the star center of the block. Add Fabric A strips and cornerstones. Press well. 
One block in 12" square finished! Oda May
